United in war

These soldiers will all stand tall,
In this war where thousands will fall,
Were many lives will end,
And their souls will descend.

These soldiers all stood united,
When this war was ignited,
All standing up willing to fight,
In a war they considered to be right.


But we don't know,
Whether it is right or wrong,
Only that it is lasting too long,
How many more mothers will lose,
A daughter or a son?
What is done is done,
This war will never be won.
